Professor Hanz Pancherz is arguably the world authority on the Herbst appliance with more than 30 years of clinical experience in the therapy of children and adults with dento-skeleto- facial anomalies. Professor Pancherz has over 120 articles published half of these are on the Herbst appliance and its effects alone. Professor Pancherz holds numerous international awards, lectures regularly and is Professor Emeritus Department of Orthodontics University of Giessen Germany.
